Mission and Purpose

The Atlanta Women’s Alliance is an umbrella organization for women’s and girls’ organizations in the metropolitan Atlanta region. AWA facilitates organizations with common missions coming together and maximizing their individual and collective potential for the common good of our community.

Benefits of Membership

  • AWA provides a comprehensive calendar to help individual organizations plan events without conflict with other events.

  • AWA online calendar allows organizations to promote their events to the entire membership of all AWA member organizations.

  • AWA provides Best Practices seminars twice a year, on topics of interest to nonprofit organizations such as fundraising, board governance, and financial issues.

  • AWA provides a networking event that allows women to meet those from a variety of other organizations and establish new connections.

  • Promotes communication amongst organizations that serve women and girls to learn to develop synergy in order to better serve our community.
